When we went to Kroger last week the kids got a lot of stickers. Eli put them all on himself and then on the kitchen table. Jenny later went and took them off the table and put them on herself! Ha!!!

As usual, I am behind on my blog posting. Here are some pictures from the end of October and beginning of November.

Eli wanted to help me carve a pumpkin! He did really good helping clean out the inside of the pumpkin and punch out the pieces I had cut. He did not like trying to separate the seeds. He said it was "disgusting!!"

Halloween started off at the mall because it was raining. Here's my cowboy and his cowgirl!

Eli's birthday party was on the 1st at Premier Athletics! He had a blast and so did all of his friends! The great thing about his party was that is was fun for all ages! A definite thumbs up!!

Isle of Palms-Last Day

Well, since Jenny was bored of the beach, we hit some different things on Friday. We started the day with going to Fort Moultrie. It was a fort that was used to protect the Charleston Harbor during the Civil War and WWII.

There were lots of canons, and Eli just had to sit on all of them!

After a nap and some lunch, we went to a fire house museum. Eli was in heaven! Here he is in a fire truck simulator where you feel like you are actually riding in a real fire truck!

Isle of Palms-Day Five

On Thursday morning, John took Eli back into Charleston to fish. This is why our van still smells like dead squid!!

We ran into this gentleman while we were in Charleston on Wednesday and he gave John the idea to come back here to fish. He was there again on Thursday and was a big help to the boys!

He even let Eli help him reel in a fish!

After lunch, we headed back to the beach. By this time, Jenny was bored of the beach, bored of the pool and bored of vacation. We didn't last very long at the beach.

Isle of Palms-Day Four

On Wednesday, we headed into Charleston. Our first stop was one of our favorite restaurants, Joseph's!!

Charleston is a lot different with Jenny because she is not one to just sit in her stroller and let you walk around for hours. So, we headed to the fountains which are always a hit with Eli. Jenny wasn't so sure!

Isle of Palms-Day Three

We didn't spend as much time at the beach today. Jenny decided not to take a morning nap and then was cranky until we laid her down after lunch. However, today, I got to hang out with Eli while Daddy napped Jenny!

After Daddy left the beach to nap Jenny, Eli and I looked for sea shells for what seemed like an hour. We went back to the house, took a little break and then headed to the pool!

On Sunday, we had a beach/pool day. During Jenny's morning nap, Eli and Daddy headed to the beach. When she woke up, we joined them!! Oh, glorious beach!!

At the very beginning of the month we went swimming with Grame, Poppy, Aunt Tricia, Cousins Jolie, Taylor, Emilee and Kenzie. Eli had a blast swimming with Jolie!! Nice goggles, Jolie!

My friends, Josh & Kresta, from Lexington came to visit this past weekend! They brought Mr. Cameron and their bean (also a boy!) and we all had a super time!!

Krispy Kreme & Cincinnati

A couple of Saturday's ago we had a pj run to Krispy Kreme! Eli, as you can tell, was quite excited!

Jenny has already displayed a rather large sweet tooth!

She is also displaying her climbing skills lately. She can even climb the stairs!

We went to Cincinnati this past weekend to visit John's sister and her family. Ashley just loved playing with Jenny and pushed her around on this ride-on for hours!

Eli was so excited that Calvin needed to mow the grass! He loves riding on the tractor!

Dollywood Season Opener

Well, we did it! The kids and I braved it to Dollywood today. Rain and all!! I actually didn't think it was supposed to rain until tonight, but I was wrong. As soon as we got there it started raining. Eli and I had wet jeans from mid-calf down the rest of the day. We met up with some friends when we got there, rode the bumper cars and then headed to eat. Shortly after lunch our friends left but I hated to leave after Eli only getting to ride one ride. So, we hopped on the train and just played the rest of the day by ear. We didn't get back into the van until 5:15. Both kids were troopers and Jenny did remarkably well!! Enjoy these pics I managed to get.

I, obviously, couldn't take Jenny on this little roller coaster, but Eli was tall enough to ride it alone. Surprisingly, he wanted to. He rode it three times!!

We ended up having a great time! We started off waiting in lots of lines and getting very wet, but we rode it out and had a fun little family outing! Eli can't wait to take Daddy!!

Jenny hasn't been feeling well lately and just cuddled with John on Sunday before dinner. It was so sweet! She didn't fall asleep, just cuddled!

Every Thursday this month Chick-fil-a is offering a free breakfast item for every box top you bring in. Because Jenny is sick we didn't go to MOPS, so we went to Chick-fil-a instead!! Jenny took her first try at playing in the play area!

Eli loved having her in there with him!

Here she is waving "hi" to me! She has just started waving in the last week. If you say "hi" or "bye" to her she will start waving. So cute!

On another note, I am very thankful for my video monitor today. Since Jenny has been sick she has been fussy and restless over night. Usually, I'll check her in the monitor and just let her fuss. Early this morning she started fussing and I checked her in the monitor. It looked like her legs were under her sheet. This was weird since a crib sheet is a fitted sheet. It went in to check on her and she was completely wrapped up in her sheet. She looked like a mummy covered from head to toe. I immediately unwrapped her and picked her up. It didn't hit me right away but she probably could have suffocated if I hadn't checked her in the monitor. I am just thankful for God's intervention and for protecting my little girl.

Six Years and One Day!

I didn't get around to scanning these yesterday, but six years and one day ago John and I were married! It's funny to look back on our wedding pictures and think how little we knew about each other compared to now. I'm very thankful for my husband and the Godly man that he is!! He is a wonderful husband and the best daddy ever!

Our Past Week...

Well, we did our usual silly things this week and added a few extra. On Thursday, Jeanne, Trevor and Sydney came over to hang out. We have officially made it jammie day when they come over! We all hang out in our jammies and it is so wonderful!!

Here is "DJ Jenny" and Sydney chillin'!! Jeanne has started calling her "DJ Jenny" because she will stand on her table and dance. She looks just like a DJ!!

Friday, before Mom's Day Out, I took Eli to Krispy Kreme to use a free doughnut coupon he had. I was fasting that day and, boy, did God give me a lot of strength to resist Krispy Kreme!! Thank you, Lord!!

This morning, as I was getting dressed, Eli decided to try on all of my necklaces and one bracelet. In this picture he is looking at himself in the mirror.

He wanted to wear them ALL to church, but I told him Daddy wouldn't be too happy with me if I let him wear necklaces to church. So, he settled for wearing one in the car on the way there!!

Well, as of 2:05 p.m. today, Jenny is 8 months old! I can't believe how quickly she is growing. It seems like just yesterday I was standing in the living crying because I couldn't put her down to nap and I was tired and just wanted to sleep. Oh how glad I am that those days are over. Now, she is crawling, trying to pull herself up onto things, sleeping so well (knock on wood) and has even gotten her first tooth!! She is getting so big! I just can't believe she is already 8 months!! She has been such a blessing to us and I thank God for her everyday!!

I don't think she is going to fit in this little stroller much longer. Especially since she keeps leaning forward.

Not only does it remind me of my beloved mother whose faith was immeasurable, but it also reminded me of my sin and the amazing grace God has given me in His Son!! Here are the words. Christmas 2008

Christmas with my family is a three day event!! We start with dinner at our house on the 23rd followed by a "Dirty Santa" game. Eli and Jolie don't actually play the game, they just exchange gifts. Jolie gave Eli a hobby horse!! He loves it!!

Day two we spent at Tricia's house for appetizers and stockings. I only took this one picture there because I just didn't think to take more. Jenny looked so pretty in her dress, too. Oh, well.

Christmas in Cincy

We headed up to Cincinnati the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with Calvin, Susie, Ashley and Megan and had a super duper time!!

Tuesday was pj day at Eli's Mom's Day Out (a.k.a. school). He didn't have any that were appropriate or long enough for school, so I took him to Target and let him pick out a new pair. Wouldn't you know it...he picked out Cars pj's!! I bought him a little boys XS. He is so big!! He even wore his light-up dinosaur slippers!!

Yesterday, Eli, Jenny and I joined Trevor, Sydney and Jeanne at the Fantasy of Trees! We had never been before and it was a lot of fun! Here are some pictures of the day!

This is where the boys stayed most of the time. It was a really small area for all of those cars but they had a blast. We had a minor meltdown when it was time to go and leave the cars.

There was no way Jeanne and I were going on this ride. Thankfully, they were allowed to ride by themselves!! They actually did a really good job spinning the cars. And, they had a ball!

Well, we had a very fun Halloween! Our original plan was to trick-or-treat in our neighborhood and, since all our friends already had plans, that is what we ended up doing! Eli had so much fun! Jenny did great! She hung out for a bit in the stroller and then, after one of the individuals passing out candy scared her, in my arms.

Jenny didn't last too long. After her bedtime feeding (in someone's yard) it didn't take her long to pass out in my arms. That is how she stayed until we came home and laid her down about an hour later. So sweet!! Eli got a couple of pieces of candy before heading off to bed where he quickly fell asleep!! He was beat!!

Our little man is now 4 years old. I can't believe how big he is getting. He had his well visit yesterday and he is 80% for weight and 84% for height. HOLY COW!!! The doctor said at this age it is genetics that makes him as tall as he is. Well, for those of you that know John and I, you know we are not at all tall. Maybe he has gotten the gene that my cousin Jason got who is a whole lot taller than his parents! John is hoping for that!! We had Eli's birthday party last Saturday and it was so much fun!! I will post pictures as soon as I get them from my sister. She is the photographer for all family events!! In the meantime, check out her blog. She posted pictures from the party!!

Eli's birthday party was rescheduled from last Saturday to this Saturday because he had Hand, Foot and Mouth. So, we were able to go to the big pumpkin patch!! We started off with a tractor ride out to the patch to pick our pumpkins. Eli particularly loved the tractor ride!!

Mason's Birthday

Yesterday was Mason's birthday and Eli wanted to celebrate with a cake. I was just going to take him to a local doggie bakery, but he wanted a cake. Of course, at three that's what a birthday is all about. So, I went online and found some recipes for doggie birthday cakes. The one I chose had peanut butter (her favorite), carrots, flour, honey, vanilla and baking soda. The icing was pureed cottage cheese. I added some of her doggie biscuits. As you can see she loved it!!

We haven't been up to too much lately. Eli is enjoying his Mom's Day Out program and so am I!! He is also enjoying gymnastics with his buddy Caden. It's hard to get pictures of him taking a class because the parents sit above the gym and my camera doesn't zoom in real far. Maybe I'll borrow my sister's camera sometime!! Jenny turned five months old on Tuesday. I cannot believe she is already five months. I told her she needs to be sitting up now because Eli sat up around 5 1/2 months. She still doesn't have any teeth even though she has been working on them for a month. She is interacting a whole lot more and laughs at Eli all of the time. She eats before Eli gets up in the morning so when he comes out she always smiles real big. She is so excited to see him!! I pray that God will give these two precious children a special relationship and that they will always be close! It has been such a joy to see how much Eli cares for her!! He is a super big brother!!

Jenny and I went down to the basement earlier this morning to hang out with Eli while he played. I thought this was a good time to try her in her exersaucer. She liked for about five minutes, but still needs to be a little more active for the full effect. When I got down there I noticed these Long John Silver hats sitting on Eli's table. We don't have a LJS anymore in West Knoxville so I couldn't figure out where they came from. Then I remembered that John and his manager ended up eating lunch there the week before our vacation in one of his territories. This was definitely a photo moment!!

This was the best I could get with Mason wearing a hat. As soon as I would try to put one on her she started swiping at it with her paws. I had Eli hold it on her until the last second before I shot this picture!! Oh, how I tortue my family!!

Day VII-Charleston

After we checked out of the condo, we headed to Charleston for the day! We started things off with a local Farmer's Market that I love to go to every year! The main reason is for these little doughnuts that one vendor sells! So good!!! After the doughnuts, we walked a little and then found some fun things for Eli to do!!

Since Eli has started taking gymnastics he loves to do flips!! He's really getting good at them, too!!

After checking in at the hotel and taking a nap with Jenny while Eli and Daddy ran around the hotel, we headed to our favorite Charleston ice cream place to finish off our trip!! So good!!

I even gave Jenny a little taste! She wasn't quite sure what to do with it!!

Well, we had a great vacation! It went too quickly, of course!! To be honest, I was exhausted when we got home. Jenny, I now realize, started teething during vacation and didn't sleep as good overnight. Even Eli woke up often during the night because he was "scared." We are starting to get back into the swing of things!! Including Mommy getting some nap time!!

Day VI-Last Day at the Beach

For our last day on Isle of Palms we kept it pretty low key. We headed to the beach in the morning and John and Eli spent most of the afternoon at the pool. As we did last year, we met the Bohannon's back at the beach later in the afternoon for family pictures. Here's what we got!!

Vacation-Day V: The Children's Museum

Vacation-Day IV

On Wednesday it was beach and pool and park again!! I took Jenny down to the beach after her mid-morning feeding and let her stretch out. She seemed to really enjoy laying in the shade and feeling the wind from the ocean!

Eli and Daddy played in a man-made pool again!!

Wednesday night was Brad and Chandra's turn for a date night. So, we hosted all three of their kiddies! We had a good time together! We started the evening out with a movie...

then some dinner...

and then another movie. The kids were all very tired by this point and anxious for Mommy and Daddy to get back!!

We had out date night on Tuesday night. We drove into Charleston, went on a historic carriage ride, ate a yummy dinner and then just strolled around the city. It was so nice to be able to walk Charleston with out any kiddies demanding out every minute! Of course, I failed to take any pictures. Oh, well!!

Day three we spent at the beach, pool and park. Well, I spent a little time at the beach with Jenny and John and Eli went to the pool and park. After I fed Jenny for her mid-morning feeding we headed down to the beach to join the boys. They had make sand men!! They were so cute I just had to snap a picture!

By the time we get down to the beach someone has dug "ponds" like this one in the sand. Eli loves them because he can lay in them and not get splashed by the waves and he can play with his boats without them washing away!!

John went in to check on Jenny during her afternoon nap and found this cute scene!!

Vacation-Day II

On Monday, we headed to Charleston for some shopping, food and fountains!! We started off with feeding Jenny and then walked through the historic district to look at some beautiful old houses (which I didn't take any pictures of. Maybe tomorrow)!!

What trip to Charleston would be complete without a visit to the fountains!!

Timing worked out perfectly for going to the fountains and feeding Jenny. I fed her while the boys played in the water and then she and I just hung out!! Of course, she flashed quite a few smiles at me!!

She even practiced her skills...rolling over and holding her head up high!!

Before we left the fountains, Eli took Daddy on a run around the park.

On our walk back to the van we passed a fire station. John remembered the firemen at Eli's birthday party telling us to stop by any station and, if they aren't out on a call, the firemen would be happy to let Eli look at the trucks and around the station. So, we thought we would check this one out and, sure enough, a nice fireman let Eli "drive" the truck...

and wear a uniform!! I tried to get a full body shot of him in the coat but the reflectors on the coat kept making the lighting in the picture turn out really funny.

Vacation-Day I

Well, we made it!! We are in Isle of Palms, S.C. No hurricanes or tropical storms here. In fact, the weather is beautiful. Very hot and humid, but beautiful! The trip down was great, except for the two times Eli got sick in the car. The poor kid gets car sick so easily. Jenny did so well and I am so thankful!! She slept most of the way and enjoyed our long lunch break at a rest area!! Here are a few pictures from the last two days.

After we got to our condo and unloaded we headed down the street for some dinner. We stay on a little strip with many condo buildings, hotel, houses, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Here is Eli holding up a palm tree branch that had fallen down and the cute little girl!

Well, we are having a great time, so far!! We are here with two other families that are our good friends!! Eli is having a blast playing with the Bohannon kids. Please pray for Caden. Chandra (his mom) came up earlier asking for some Children's Motrin because he has a fever and is feeling icky. I pray he gets better with a good night's sleep!! Hopefully, we'll meet up with the Campbell's soon!!

And, for all of you who watched the video of Eli having a moment!! Please don't think ill of him. He is a little sinner, after all, and is still in training on how to be obedient and joyful. In fact, I am still in training for the same things! He really is a joy!!! We are just hitting a very challenging season for a child and are feeling an increase in training and discipline!! But, we are so thankful to God for him and wouldn't trade a minute of it!

First Day of School!!

Eli had his first day of school today. Well, it's actually a Mom's Day Out, but it's easier to just say school! He was very excited to go! I was a little afraid he wouldn't want me to leave but he didn't seem to mind at all! When I picked him up he said he had a lot of fun and the teacher said he did great and that he obeyed them when they asked him to do something!! Last Sunday we attended Cousin Jolie's birthday party! She's a whopping' four years old!! It was out at a farm with pony rides, a petting zoo, and tractor rides! Eli had a blast!!

Our Last Week!

Last weekend we headed up to Cincinnati a week early to attend John's uncle's funeral. Thursday morning, before we left, I decided to give the kids a bath. I put Jenny in the bath with Eli for the first time and she loved it. She was so content the whole time. I kept waiting for her to start to fuss before I took her out but she never did!! Eli loved having her in the bath with him!!

He even shared his bath toys with her!!

We drove up to Cincinnati on Thursday, stayed with Susie and the girls and then headed to Grove City, OH for the funeral on Friday. We stayed in a hotel Friday night and woke up to a fun time of cuddling in a big bed!!When Uncle Calvin got back from his work trip he took Eli on a ride on his tractor!! He even let Eli steer a little!!Eli's new thing lately is to put his "baby" in the other bouncer we have that I am trying to sell. He told me that we have to keep it for his baby!! Here is Eli's baby and my baby!!Cute girl, don't you think!!??My two babies!!To top off our week we headed to Big Ed's Pizza for dinner tonight! We haven't been since well before Jenny was born and it is one of our favorites!! Eli actually ate 3.5 slices!! I think that's a record for him!!

Jenny did great on our trip to Cincinnati. We were planning a trip up there to test the traveling waters with Jenny for our upcoming vacation. She did so great! She slept in her pack-n-play great, napped great and even did very well in the car. The most she cried was for 30 minutes and once we stopped for a short break she was fine. I pray that she will do just as well in two weeks!! Can't wait!!

We had a very busy Saturday last weekend. It started before 8 a.m. with me going to Wal-Mart to do our grocery shopping. That was actually a great time to go because no one was there. Apparently, Wal-Mart doesn't get busy until around 10 a.m. Also, it was raining, so that scared even more people away.

After I got home and put most of the groceries away we headed to Eli & Jolie's last swim lesson. This week, the parents got to watch!!

The Past Week

We have been pretty busy over the past week. We start off most mornings with Eli holding Jenny!! He loves to hold her! Last Saturday, after hanging out at Mimi & Pappy's house with Eli's cousins, he and I headed out on the boat with my Dad, Chris, Carrie, Emy & Kenzie.

This kids had a blast!

Earlier, at Mimi & Pappy's, Eli went swimming with John and his cousins. On the walk home he had quite the tumble and ended up with these nice scratches on his face. They are practically gone now!!

Here's Jenny chilling on the couch. She just got off the phone from calling Daddy to see when he was going to be home from work!!

This morning I was able to go to a big consignment sale alone!! Thanks Mimi & Pappy!! The only specific thing I was looking for was a Bumbo seat. My friend, Jeanne, got there earlier than me and held one for me! Thanks, Jeanne! I didn't think Jenny would be able to go in it yet, but she did great!! She never toppled over!!I even got a smile out of her!!Eli likes it, too!I never posted about Jenny's two month check-up. She is now 10lbs 3 oz and, I think, 21 inches. She gained 3 lbs in one month!! Great job, Jenny! She is doing great! She only gets up once at night and sleeps between 8 and 9 hours overnight. She does great during the day and has become a lot more alert and interactive!! She has become such a joy!! I look forward to the months ahead!

We received some good news today! John was given a promotion at work!! He is now a Senior Sales Representative for his pharmaceutical sales job!! His job is still the same, but his title is different. I guess there are four levels of sales reps and he wasn't expecting to get to the second level for another couple of years! We were so excited and are thankful to God for blessing John and for allowing him to have favor among his superiors!! He was even given a little raise!!

I was feeding Jenny the other day and she kept dozing on me. Eli was outside so I decided to take her out there to check on him thinking the sun and heat would wake her up and I could finish feeding her. Eli was playing with the water hose and it was all tangled up. So, I put Jenny down to fix the hose and, not hearing the crying I expected, turned around to find her asleep on the chair. She slept there for about 20 minutes!

Eli loves playing in the backyard with his pools and the water hose. This particular day he got a little more daring and poured the water over his head. I think those swim lessons are finally starting to help with the whole "I don't like water in my face" fetish.

Our 4th of July!!

For the 4th of July we didn't really have any plans. So, we decided to head downtown and go to the Mast General Store and Market Square. I knew there were fountains in Market Square, so we packed Eli's swim trunks and let him play in the water. He loved it!! It was a fun filled afternoon of shopping for candy and toys, eating a yummy lunch and playing in the water!

I'm cold!!Here is the little girl in her patriotic dress. Isn't it cute!! This was the first time I'd put her in a dress. She is just now fitting into her 0-3 month clothes, so I hadn't even tried any dresses until yesterday.

Normal Days!!

Well, things have been relatively normal around here! Thank goodness!! I have been feeling great and have enjoyed seeing my children again!! Well, I had to wait until late last night to see Eli. Until then, I hung out with Jenny and Mason! I gave her some tummy time for the first time yesterday. At first, she wasn't so sure about it.

Mason wanted to get in on the action, too!! Or maybe just sneak some kisses!

Finally starting to get it!!

The baby is a noisy and squirmy sleeper, which means I don't get much sleep because I wake up at every noise and movement. So, I decided to mover her to her crib last night. She did really well and I am so glad!! Here she is taking a nap in there this morning!! YIPEE!! Now I'm praying she continues to like her bed!!

While she was napping, Eli and I played trains.

This weekend, Eli went up to Cincinnati with Uncle Josh & Aunt Tonya to visit Uncle Calvin, Aunt Susie and cousins Ashley & Megan. He had a super time and even came back with a souvenir!! Uncle Josh told us to burn it (ha, ha), but before we do (jk!!) Eli wanted to show Calvin how much he likes his new hat!!

Thanks so much to Josh, Tonya, Calvin and Susie for keeping up with our little guy! It was really nice to be able to get back into the swing of things without that crazy kid running around making train noises!! Unfortunately, Eli got sick in the car on the way home. Nice treat for Josh & Tonya, huh?!! Luckily, they were 20 minutes from home! Kudos, kudos, kudos to Josh & Tonya! They were so understanding!! Oh, and it was John's parent's car!! Now, Eli has gotten sick in both of their cars!!!

How To Lose Your Pregnancy Weight...

Get really sick and spend three days in the hospital. Well, I wouldn't recommend it but that is exactly what happened to me. It all started on Tuesday afternoon when I thought I was developing another ulcer (I had one after Eli was born). By the end of the evening I thought I had come down with a stomach bug. By Wednesday morning I was feeling better and thought I was on the mend. Wrong!! Around 1:00 on Wednesday afternoon I started getting some severe cramps in my lower abdomen. I was doubled over in pain and sobbing uncontrollably. John immediately decided I needed attention (good man!!) and we went to the hospital. Kids and all!! It was quite interesting because when we got to the hospital I was crying and so was the baby!! I felt bad for anyone around us. One of the receptionists graciously took the baby out of her seat and kept up with her and Eli while I got admitted and settled. I couldn't get pain medicine fast enough.

Finally, I was given some morphine and, within five minutes, was feeling much better. After about 6 or 7 hours I was diagnosed with an infected uterus and admitted to the hospital. Once in my room I was put on some serious antibiotics via IV and more pain medicine. It took about 36 hours for me to start feeling better. Friday morning was a turning point. My temperature began to return to normal and my stomach no longer felt like it was crumbled into an itty-bitty teeny-tiny ball. My body and the antibiotics were finally starting to beat this thing.

The weird thing about me having an infected uterus is that I had a normal vaginal delivery and it was five weeks ago, not a few days ago. Only about 1% of these cases are patients like me. Oh, well. I am just thankful we have good insurance!! So, this morning, I was discharged and finally able to go home. I want to thank everyone who helped us out during these crazy few days. Thanks to Josh, Tonya, Lowell, Kim, Dad, Alana, Tricia, Susie, Calvin and, of course, my amazing husband who have helped with the kids!! John was such a champ. Being thrust into taking care of both kids out of nowhere was crazy, but he responded with a loving and servant heart!! Our house was a little messy when we got home, but that was easy to take care of!!

I am feeling so much better now!! God has been so kind to us these past few days by providing friends and family to serve us and a healthy body to respond to medicine. I am so thankful this didn't turn into anything more serious! Thanks to all who have been praying for us and who are going to provide meals for us!! We greatly appreciate your generosity!! Thanks, Laura, for organizing those!! We are so thankful for our family, friends and church!

Sorry for the long delay in posting. It has definitely been different around here. Jenny decided that she didn't like being put down during the day and wanted to be held constantly. So, things were a little challenging for awhile. We have been working on helping her be content in a swing or bouncy seat and sleeping in her bassinet during the day for naps. She does great overnight, so we aren't sure what the deal is. But, she is slowly starting to get it and get more adjusted to the outside world!! Here are some random pictures from the last couple of weeks.

We went to the pool the other day with some friends and I wasn't sure how that was going to work. If I didn't know everyone there, I wouldn't have gone by myself. Anyway, Jenny slept for two hours in her stroller, so I got to hang out with Eli in the pool! It was so great!!

For the past two Friday's we have gone to this gym where they have open play for the kids. Eli loves it!!

Since We've Been Home...

Well, since we've been home life has definitely changed. John wonderfully has 10 day paternity leave from work, so he has been great in keeping up with Eli. Eli is just enthralled with his little sister and loves to touch her all of the time!! We went to the pediatrician on Friday and Jenny weighed in at 6lbs. 10 oz. with everything else looking great!!

It was a little cold when we woke up on Saturday!! So, we bundled the little girl up quite nicely!

Poppy came to the hospital twice and I failed to take a picture of him with Jenny. So, when he stopped by on Saturday my camera was ready!!

My sister & her family also stopped by on Saturday. The girls were so excited to get their hands on the baby!!

More visitors...Mimi & Pappy!!

This morning, we gave Jenny her first bath.

She didn't like it very much.

Eli loves his baby sister!!

Jenny is doing great!! She is eating well and sleeping pretty well. Last night was really good, but the night before was okay. We'll see how tonight goes!! We are all enjoying getting to know our newest addition and are grateful to God for a healthy baby girl!!
