Eli's Birthday Party-October 26th

We celebrated Eli's birthday on his actual birthday at Events At Sherlake! If you haven't been there you have got to go! The kids love it, and so do the parents! It is basically an inflatable party zone with big slides, an obstacle course and jumping house!! I think Eli really enjoyed his party!!

Eli and Poppy!

Going down the slides!!

All the kiddies!

Birthday dinner!

Cake time!

Gift time!

Eli was so worn out by the end of his party that he was laying on the floor playing with his new tractor! Thanks to everyone who came and for his gifts! He loves them all! Also, thanks to Poppy and Grame for the wonderful party and to Aunt Carrie for being our photographer!!

Happy Birthday, Little Man!!

I stole Carrie's idea from MacKenzie's birthday by doing some then and now photos of Eli. I can't believe he is already two. Once we got through the first four months life just flew by. We love you, buddy, more and more everyday! And can't wait to celebrate at your party tonight!! Happy Birthday, Eli!!

Eli's first photo seconds after he was born. He doesn't look real happy to be out of the womb. He wasn't happy about that for almost four months!!

Our first family photo. I look like I am 12 years old!! It's all the swelling!!

This was actually taken the next day by Carrie, but it is such a good picture of his little face. Look how alert he is!

And here he is today! My big boy!

Say cheese!!

The Knoxville Zoo-October 6th

Today, Jeanne and Trevor invited us to the Knoxville Zoo as guests with their membership! Eli and I enjoyed it so much that we are asking Daddy for a membership for our birthdays!! Thanks, again, Jeanne and Trevor!! We had so much fun!!

Checking out the elephants!! Let's "Do the Elephant!!"

This is great! Driving a super cool truck!

Jeanne said the gorillas have never been this close before! We got lucky!!

Milking cows and going down slides in the Kids Cove!!

Taking a break for some grub!!

Being silly in the gift shop!

I Love Spaghetti!

My New Vaccuum!!

Eli got this super cool vaccuum cleaner for $1 at a garage sale last weekend. He loves vaccuming anything in sight and wearing my flip flops while doing it! He is so silly!!

The Fruit & Berry Patch-September 29th

Eli and I joined some friends at the Fruit & Berry Patch last Friday. It was so much fun. They had an apple orchard where you could pick your own apples, a pumpkin patch, a corn maize and a petting zoo. We didn't do the petting zoo because we were getting close to nap times. Eli enjoyed hanging out with his friend Trevor!! Thanks, Jeanne and Trevor, for inviting us!

Going for a stroll!

The boys enjoyed blackberry fruit slushes and apples!

Here they are loving on each other and picking out pumpkins!

Another Boo-Boo!!

Here is a picture of Eli's first real knee scrape. He did this while pushing his lawnmower up the street. It's crazy how easily he bruises!!

Pictures of the Kick!!

Eli has had many accidents lately and two of them happened to be to his face. His cheek is from chasing Mason in the house, tripping and falling directly into the couch. His forehead is from our bathroom drawer. Ouch!!

This is one of Eli's favorite places to sit. I don't think Mason likes it too much. Have you noticed that Mason is Eli's favorite toy?

We went to Lexington this past weekend to visit our friends, Josh and Kresta. Eli enjoyed hanging out with them and especially enjoyed their dog, Olivia! I don't think Eli has ever been as close to the ceiling as he is when Josh holds him!! Josh and Kresta will be welcoming their own little man, Cameron Dei, in January! We can't wait to meet him. Hopefully, as he gets older, he
and Eli will become great buds!!
