Christmas Celebrations-Day 1

Well, we celebrated Christmas four times this year!! It all started Saturday night with John's family at Josh and Tonya's house. Calvin, Susie and the girls came down and we all ate a scrumptious dinner and then had a great time opening gifts!!

Breakfast with Poppy!!

We met Dad yesterday for breakfast and, even though it was quite chilly, went for a walk afterwards around the shopping center. Eli has been giving Dad the shaft the last couple of times we've seen him, so Dad got creative this time. He put him up on his shoulders!!

Thanks for breakfast, Dad!! We always enjoy coming and hanging out for awhile!! Even if I do have to drag the little man out of bed!! We love you!!

Eli's Christmas Tree

Well, we finally got ornaments for Eli's little tree in his room. I had gone to Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and seen some really fun little boy themed ornaments. By the time we made it there for Eli to pick some out there wasn't much left. I didn't realize that once they sold out they wouldn't be getting any more in. So, Eli picked out some basketballs, soccer balls, drums, trucks and little candy balls. He kept wanting to play with the ball ornaments and even broke a couple in the process!! His tree is pretty busy, but it's perfect for him!!

Eli's New Sleeping Bag

Well, after the accident, Eli didn't sleep very well so he ended up falling asleep during his quiet time. Right on the floor!!

Eventful Days

Well, we have had an eventful few days. It all started last Friday when John and I came down with food poisoning (or so we think) from a Christmas party we went to on Wednesday. Out of all the families that went, only one (that we know of) wasn't affected. Thankfully, Eli didn't get sick. Probably because all he ate were sweets!! So, on Saturday, I was still recovering and John took Eli to a parade in Maryille to watch Emilee and Kenzie. For pictures, look at Carrie & Tricia's blogs. He had a blast and ate way too much candy. On the way home, John was stopping at a red light when someone rear ended them. Eli was very shaken up and ended up getting sick and crying pretty hard. The paramedics were concerned about the vomit because usually that means there is a head injury but John knew he was just scared and full of candy. They checked his vomit and there was no blood!! So, thankfully, John and Eli are fine but the van is a little banged up. I will be able to get the police report tomorrow and I am praying that the other driver has insurance. If not, we have good coverage!!

Visit from the Wilson's!!!

This past weekend our friends, Josh, Kresta and Cameron, came for a visit! We were busy, but still managed to squeeze in some fun!! Both boys were sick at one point or another. Eli came down with a 12-hour stomach bug of some sort and Cameron kept acting like he didn't feel good. Turns out, he had a pretty bad ear infection. Maybe that's why he cried every time Eli would yell real loud!!!

Here we are having our Christmas. We usually end up celebrating in April, so I was excited when we were able to get together in December!!

Here, Cameron is crying because Eli just yelled "cheese" (previous picture) really loud!!! I think Eli is afraid Mason is going to try and swipe his gift!!

Next, the boys enjoyed a fun-filled bath. Well, it was fun for Eli! Here, Eli is pouring water on his own head and Cameron's. Cameron liked it the first couple of times, but after about the fifth time he was over it!!
