A Few Random Pictures

Eli loves to line up his cars and trucks. Especially in his bath!!
If you look close enough you can see remnants of blue icing around his mouth.
We went out to Dad and Alana's on Sunday for dinner and hang time. Eli and Jolie just had to play outside even though it was quite chilly. Can you see Eli in this picture?

Happy Birthday Easton!

On Saturday, we hosted Easton's 3rd birthday party!! The theme was pirates and all the kids were asked to dress in pirate garb!! Eli doesn't really have any pirate garb so I bought him some fun accessories (hat, eye patch, hand hook) in the Target $1 section, but he didn't keep them on very long. All of the other kids did great with their garb!

Arrrrrggggghhhh!!!
Melissa (Easton's mommy) had games for the kids to play and the first was stick the eye patch on the pirate. The pirate was a big blown-up picture of Easton. Eli didn't want to keep the blind fold on.
So, Melissa had to hold it in place while he stuck it on the poster!!
All the kids wanted to do was play, so Melissa chucked the other game and let them go crazy!! They had a blast!!
Grub time!
Happy birthday, Easton!!!
Of course, all the kids wanted the cupcakes with the blue icing. Eli's didn't come off his hands and face until we soaked him in a bath!!Happy birthday, Easton! We all had a blast at your pirate party!! Hope you enjoyed it, too!!

Cozy Boy!!

Every now and then Eli ends up in bed with us. This past Thursday morning he looked so cozy and warm that I hated to wake him!!

This is what I found when I pulled the comforter back!!
I couldn't believe how snuggled he was!! He almost looks like a caterpillar's cocoon! So sweet!!

Bouncy Ball II

Here is the second half to the previous video!!

Bouncy Ball

I have been looking for one of these bouncy balls ever since Christmas and I finally stumbled upon one at Party City the other day. It took Eli a bit to figure it out but he quickly got the hang of it. It was so funny to watch him!!

Jumping off the Couch

The lighting is really bad in this video, but I think you can get the idea of how fearless my child is. He reminds me a lot of my niece, Kenzie!!

Jumping on the Bed

This is one of Eli's new favorite things to do...pile all of the pillows up on our bed and then jump on them!!

Too Cute!!

I walked into Eli's room to check on him and this is what I found!! So cute!!

Last from Virgin Gorda

Here's my belly! Not too big, yet. It feels bigger than it looks!!

Well, we're home now! We actually got home at 3:30 this morning. My poor husband blessed me by driving home last night. Flying always makes me feel yucky and it lingered after we got into Atlanta, so he just drove the whole time while I slept!! We had a super trip and are glad to be home!! It's always nice to be back in your own bed! Eli had a great time with Grame and Poppy!!! Thanks to Grame and Poppy for keeping up with the kick!! We appreciate it very much!!

More Virgin Gorda

Here is our "tree house" studio. There is no air conditioning, which I was worried about at first. But, once we got here and turned on all the fans it was quite cozy. It gets chilly at night, but I still only sleep in a t-shirt. We have a full kitchen, king size bed and full bathroom.

The view from our deck.
Our neighbor's tree house.
Our tree house!

Check out this immaculate house. We're not sure if it is a rental or a residence, but it sure is beautiful!

Greetings from Virgin Gorda, BVI!!!

Hello everyone! Well, we are in Virgin Gorda and it is so beautiful here!! This is a great place to marvel in God's amazing creation!! We arrived in St. Thomas on Friday evening and had to spend the night there because there were no ferries that left past when our flight arrived. So, we headed out on the first ferry on Saturday morning and arrived at our lodging around noon.

Here is our first shot from our first ferry. Gorgeous!!

Once we got settled in a little we were starved. So, we went to a restaurant called Top of the Baths. Here is the view.

There's even a pool to relax in!!
It is really funny but there are roosters everywhere. And they crow at all hours of the day. One even joined us for lunch!!
Spring Bay beach. Our beach through our lodging.

The waves were very strong on our first day. John didn't venture in much further and I didn't go in at all.

Another little friend we found along the way!!

We are so thankful to God for allowing us to take this trip!! It is so beautiful and relaxing here!! Yesterday, it rained, so we rented a jeep and drove around the island. We didn't take any pictures because it was so gloomy. But, it is beautiful today, so we will be taking much more!!
