Our Easter!
On Sunday, after Eli's quiet time, we had his very own egg hunt complete with eggs filled with chocolate!! Yep, chocolate!! He still gets a piece of candy when he goes poo-poo in the potty, so I thought we could use the chocolate for that!! And, I get to swipe a few myself!!Where are my eggs filled with bones?
After the egg hunt, and some bubble gum (notice the full mouth), we gave Eli his goody basket. We don't do the whole bunny thing, so we were able to wait until later in the afternoon. It's a good thing we don't do the bunny because John had to play on the worship team and he wouldn't have been there to see Eli's reaction.
Here's what he got...new Bob the Builder vehicles, some flips (which are way too big), and a Boz book on counting our blessings.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter grateful for the sacrifice of our Savior!! We tried to teach Eli about Christ's death and resurrection but it is still pretty much over his head. We did tell him his goody basket was given to him as a way to celebrate the gift of Jesus. Still not sure what all he understands, but with God's grace he will come to a knowledge of Christ at an early age!!

Cold Noses
Whenever Eli ventures into our room for the first time each morning he usually takes Mason's blanket off of her and yells "Good Morning, Sissy!!!" Yesterday, though, I guess her nose was cold so she stuck it back under the blanket!
A few minutes after taking the pictures of Mason I hear Eli telling me to take his picture because his nose was cold, too!

"Necklaces"
We had closet systems put in three of our closets last week. I had to empty out the closets and Eli found a bag of leis. He called them necklaces and proceeded to put all of them on.
I know it's hard to tell, but here is the final product. It started with a metal shelf and single rod. Now there are two shelves up top, single hang on the left, multiples shelves in the middle and double hang on the right. So much more user friendly! We also had this done in the baby/guest room and we had the linen closet updated with the wire shelving. Now the only closets left are the coat closet, office closet and toy closet in the basement. Almost done!!
Best Buds!!
As I have mentioned before, my friend Jeanne and I do a swap day with our boys. I had Trevor last week and needed to go by Sam's. The boys had a good time entertaining each other while I shopped. And, it made my trip a little easier!!
After Sam's, we went to the car wash. Trevor kept saying that's where the octopus was and I had no idea what he was talking about. Once we were in the car wash I realized he was referring to the long things that wash your car (whatever they're called). I guess his daddy calls them the octopus!!

My Belly & Time Outside
It has been so nice out the last two days that we have taken full advantage of it. Last night Eli and I went for a walk and then just hung out outside!! Oh, and we took a couple pictures of my belly...per my sister's request. To look at the pictures I don't look as big as I feel!!!Big brother!! I can't believe my little man is going to be a big brother!! The other day he was laying down beside me and resting his head on my lap. He looked up, pointed to my belly and said "Baby"!!! I think he is going to make a great big brother!!!
Waiting patiently for Mommy to stop talking to Daddy. Notice his flip flops? He has been begging for a week to wear them!
Every time we go outside, Eli likes to get all of his riding toys and line them up. Or, as he says, park them!!
