Day Four - Festival in Santa Maria

There was an Easter festival in Santa Maria, so we decided to check it out. It was a little crowded, but Eli and Jolie still had fun!

We ran into Jolie's friend, Mac, and they had fun playing in the straw. But, they really weren't allowed to, so we quickly got asked to leave that area.

After the festival, we went to Kohl's for a big sale. Eli didn't last long in his stroller.

Jolie loves stuffed animals!! Isn't she so cute!!
The kids topped off their last evening together by taking a bath with each other. They loved it!!

Day Five - Going Home

Here is the shirt we bought Eli on base.
One last hug before we leave. They almost fell off the bench.

Eating my breakfast that Aunt Tricia made for me!!

Once we got in L.A. we found a spot by a window so we could watch the planes. Eli saw a good ledge, so he got his trucks out and started playing with them on the ledge.

We didn't even make it off the ground in L.A. before he fell asleep! He then slept for three hours!!

Reading books and playing with trucks as we take off!!

We were sad to leave, but glad to get home! Thanks, Tricia and Jolie, for letting us come visit!! Have fun reuniting with Hayes and we can't wait to hear about his homecoming!! We love you guys!

Silly Boy!

One morning, about two weeks ago, I went in to get Eli and he was all propped up on his beach ball pillow. I thought it was pretty funny!

Monterrey Mexican Restaurant

I took Eli to a mexican restaurant for the first time last Friday. Since John is in Chicago again for training, I thought we could have a special treat! I wasn't sure how Eli would like the food, but he loved it! He devoured the chicken enchilada. Check out the video I recently uploaded of our dinnner!!

We went "Krogering" before dinner and Eli got a bunch of stickers!!

Cars and trucks always keep him occupied at restaurants!!

A little close-up of how much he liked his dinner!

Breakfast With Poppy!!

My dad and I get together pretty regularly for breakfast and Eli always enjoys his time with Poppy! This particular morning he was being super silly with his bib!!

Happy Birthday, Ally!!

On Friday, Eli went to his friend, Ally's, birthday party. She hit the big 3!! The kids played and ate a little pizza but then it was cupcake time!!

Yummy, yummy!! Look at Ally!!

All the kids surrounding Ally to see what she got!

Maybe I'll wrap myself?!!

A New Thing

Eli started asking for this pillow that goes with the chair in his room at bedtime. I went in one night after he fell asleep to check on him and this is what I found. So cute!!

Events-February 13th

Last Tuesday, we joined Grame, Aunt Tricia, and Cousins Jolie, Emilee & Kenzie at Events. It was a blast!! Thanks, Grame, for a fun time and for lunch!!

Super Bowl 2007

Our friends, the Bohannon's, hosted a Super Bowl party for the second year in a row!! It was a blast and we had a ton of yummy food! We did our best to keep the kids distracted so the adults could watch the game!

We used our television!!

Eli tried to use my camera!!

But, they kept coming in to try and distract us adults! Caden is such a cheese ball!!

Thanks, Brad and Chandra, for your hospitality and for a super party!! Thanks, also, to the Campbell's and Hamilton's who also brought food! Everything was so yummy!!

Just For You, Aunt Susie!!

Hi, Aunt Susie! I wanted to show you how much I love my Wiggles slippers!! This is me waving at the camera and showing off my slippers!!

Lexington, KY: January 31st-February 3rd

Eli and I took a last minute trip to Lexington last week to visit our friends, Josh & Kresta, and their new baby boy, Cameron!! We had a blast! Check out these silly pictures!!

I hadn't heard much from Eli in a few minutes, so I went upstairs to check on him. This is where I found him!! Maybe he remembers his Ocean Wonders Aquarium from when he was a baby!!

On Thursday, we hit the mall for lunch and Eli enjoyed releasing some energy in the play area!

I had Eli sleep with me because I was too lazy to mess with the pack-n-play. I actually look forward to sleeping with him until the middle of the night when there is a foot in my chest!! Isn't he sweet all cuddled up on the pillow!!

This was Eli showing me his silly face. I was impressed that he actually posed for the camera.

Kresta had a bunch of toys from her job as a speech pathologist in the room where we were staying and Eli found some neat trucks right away. Needless to say, he and I went to Toys R Us and found him some super cool new trucks!! This is how he spent most of our time in Lexington!

Giving Olivia a good night hug!

Well, as we were leaving, I realized I didn't have any pictures of the baby! I was surprised at how well Eli cooperated for these!

Leaning in to give kisses!

Thanks so much, Josh & Kresta, for allowing us to come and take over your house! We enjoyed hanging out and getting to visit with Cameron!! We'll be praying for this new season of your lives and looking forward to seeing you all again soon!!
