Eli's BFF!! (Well, one of them!!)

My friend, Jeanne, and I have started swapping out days with our children so we can each get a couple of hours off during the week. Today, Eli and I hosted Trevor. When I told Eli that Trevor was coming over he asked if Easton (Eli's other BFF) was coming over too. Just Trevor, but the boys had a blast!!

I think the boys are going to start a band!!

Birthday Celebrations!!!

Yesterday we celebrated Kim, Susie and Tonya's birthdays at the Parent's house and Eli got attacked by Gracie Lynn!! She kept going after his hair!! Eli loved it!!

The Grace of God

Thank you, everyone, for your encouraging responses!! We are so excited and grateful for God's provision. We know many who are not able to conceive as easily as we are and we know it is only by God's grace!! It looks like I am about 5 or 6 weeks along and due sometime around May 18th. I was kind of hoping I might be able to have the baby on my mom's birthday, but there is no way I would go 11 days late. Oh, well. This baby will be a blessing whenever he/she comes!! No symptoms yet. I am expecting those to start next week or the following week. Please pray that Eli would do okay if I end up having to spend a lot of time on the couch!! He's going to make a sweet big brother! I'm sure we'll have our sinful moments, but I am anxious to see how he responds to his new baby brother/sister!!

Here is a picture of a baby in the womb at 6 weeks.

Breakfast with Poppy!!

We met my dad for breakfast this morning and I finally remembered to take some pictures of him and Eli together. After we eat we usually take a walk around the shopping complex behind Cracker Barrel. Today, Eli rode on Poppy's shoulders and back. How fun!!

Going Home

Well, today we headed home. I was ready to get home but sad to leave. We headed to Charleston for the Farmer's Market on our way out of town. There is this one vendor who sells these yummy mini-dough nuts!! They are the main reason we go. There are also inflateables and pony rides!! And, I always enjoy walking through farmer's markets and Charleston's is great!!

It's good to be home!!

Photo Shoot with the Bohannon's and Our Last Day

Yesterday, we met the Bohannon's down at the beach for a photo shoot. It was great having someone take pictures for us and us for them!!

Poor Caden just was not in to the pictures!!

After our photo shoot, we got dressed for one last day at the pool. There was another little girl at the pool who had this car float and Eli just loved it. Who knew?!!My little man is going to turn into an orange. He would eat a whole orange in one sitting!!
We topped off our evening with ice cream at Ben and Jerry's! As you can see, the kids enjoyed it!!

Charleston Children's Museum

Today we went back to Charleston and headed to the Children's Museum. Eli had a blast and it was really cool. We started off in a room of golf ball exhibits that was supposed to teach kids about motion. Of course, Eli doesn't care about any of that. He just wanted to toss the balls around!

Next was the Water Room. This was Eli's favorite room!! When we came back after lunch I think we spent an hour in there!!

Next came the Shrimping Boat.

And the Grocery Store.

Surprisingly, Eli enjoyed the Toddler/Infant room. More because one of the gyms had tunnels that he could crawl through.
Here is the Castle Room. Eli had a lot of fun in here but my battery died right after we got in there. So, this is where the pictures stop. There were so many more I wanted to take when we went back after lunch but these will have to do. The battery is all charged up for our last day at the beach tomorrow!!
